Chocolate Calcite (aka Brown Aragonite) is a rare variety of Calcite. It is made of carbon, oxygen, and calcium. Calcite and Aragonite are essentially both a calcium carbonate but aragonite forms when it is exposed to greater heat and pressure. It is mainly found in Pakistan and Mexico. Surprisingly it is a relatively soft mineral rating of 3 on the Mohs hardness scale and such, as with all calcite it is important to take care when cleansing (i.e. no water!).

This medium sized sphere is a beautiful example of chocolate calcite and would look outstanding as a part of your collection or on its own.
