Caribbean calcite is a recently discovered crystal, found in 2019 and much sought after due to it beautiful colour – just like the Caribbean sea. Perfect to meditate with and to help you connect with your higher self. or a beautiful ornament. Comes in four distinct shapes: Dragonfly, Mountain, Oval and Unicorn.
Caribbean Calcite is a relatively recent discovery- as it was only found in 2019, although there are some similar calcites from other parts of the world. Genuine Caribbean Calcite has only been discovered in Pakistan. It’s sometimes also sold as “blue aragonite” Caribbean Calcite is a made up of a combination of blue calcite, white and brown aragonite. Giving it that dreamy Caribbean beach look
You will also notice that Caribbean calcite often has a swiss cheese appearance. Known in the crystal world as vugs these formations inside of the crystal often comes coated with beautiful quartz frosting known as “druzy”
Mols is between 3 and 3.5 making it more delicate. So take care with it when cleansing. It can be rinsed in water and dried with a soft towel.
As it is such a new discovery the metaphysical properties of this crystal are still being found.
